Three years after the release of 'Rebellion', TANTRUM have finally hit the studios to track some new material!

Since the band's inception in 2004; TANTRUM have been through many line up changes. And over the years we've seen the band evolve and move deeper into new and uncharted musical territories with every line up change. 

The brand new track 'MILIEU' is their first release with new skinsman Ranil 'Jackson' Senarath on drums!

STIGMATA RELEASE NEW SINGLE OFF UPCOMING ALBUM!

The Architects of Pure Sri Lankan Metal unleash a brand new tune off their upcoming album “The Ascetic Paradox”

"The Ascetic Paradox" is scheduled for release in Sri Lanka on the 17^th October 2015 at the British School Auditorium and will be launched in the following week internationally on the "Metalliance 2015 Paradox Tour" in New Zealand in Wellington on 24^th October, and Auckland on the 25^th October.

Mass Damnation is a Groove Metal band based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Formed by Tony Jayathilake and Nirodha Jayasinghe; Mass Damnation arose from the ashes of their former project Sword Of The Spirit, which disbanded due to musical and ideological differences between members.

Since their inception in 2010, Mass Damnation have been on an ear crushing crusade creating a unique blend of various elements of Heavy Metal and its sub genres such as Groove, Thrash, and Death Metal.

Formed in 2011, Sacrament is a Metal band based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The band's name was inspired by Lamb of God's fifth album Sacrament.

News about this years’ crushing line up for Maelstrom Festival has been creating massive waves far and wide. This is the first Heavy Metal festival of its kind to be staged on Sri Lankan soil.

NEVI’IM will unleash their sonic fury on the 30^th August 2015 at the Viharamahadevi Amphitheatre; an iconic venue known for many historic Rock and Metal open air events that have taken place in Colombo, such as Peace Rock, As I Lay Dying live in Sri Lanka, Red Festival, Rock Meets Reggae, Tribute To The Gods, TNL Onstage, and many more such events.

Alright, so we guessed wrong.. ;)

Here's that bit of news all you TANTRUM fans have been eagerly awaiting!

Here's the official announcement by front-man Javeen Soysa, welcoming Ranil "Jackson" Senarath to the tantruMENTAL Family.

Who shall claim the vacant throne?

Prog metallers TANTRUM parted ways with drummer Taraka Senewiratne earlier this year. Taraka's departure from the band was announced shortly after he'd taken up duties as skinsman of Prog giants Stigmata, replacing Chathuranga Pitigala who left the band due to personal reasons. 

 

After a lengthy period of auditions TANTRUM announced last week that they've found their new skinsman, who's name shall be revealed soon.

Does anybody have any clues as to who it could be?
